• The Three Graces in Hove

Yeah - like we aren't working out what to play next :-) Thats was such a lot of fun and thanks to our old and new friends for braving the bitter cold to come see us play. We had dancing, backing vocals from Roz and Tony and played for over two and a half hours. Great pub and really good to play there. Thanks to The Three Graces for sorting us out a gig at such short notice x

  • Mark at the Three Graces

So much going on at the gigs now - acoustic shows give us such a lot of room. Mark plays steel and nylon strung guitars, banjo, mandolin, slide guitar and soon the fiddle will be turning up too. Instruments get swopped around - I never know who is gonna turn up at a show with something new. When we played with Good Luck Mountain, Nick was playing a glockenspeil!

  • Koans at The Horse & Groom

Well Pat from the H&G has got himself a new (and very swanky) camera and took loads of pix of our gig on Thursday. Another Koans acoustic show and it's cool to not have my ears ringing for days from that Les Paul Marshall set up. Here's one of the ever animated koans - even sitting down they jump about ;-)

  • New Gig

Well, we had a great time at the Constant Service last week - check it out, such a great pub, friendly, was a fun first gig to play with lots of dancing, food looks really good and they do Harveys Armada and Old - ideal!. We are back in Hanover this Thursday the 9th at The Horse and Groom in Islingword Road. Old favourite of ours and looking forward to getting back there - we are playing acoustic shows just now so the wall of sound is out for the next couple of gigs - still be pretty full on though :-) Then it's The Three Graces in Portland Road in Hove. Very cool looking pub and our pal Rosalind is coming over from France to raise a glass or twenty with us for this show. Hope you can come along xxx

  • The Constant Service

It's a home gig for Ed our bass player who lives a few steps away and gonna be great to have Mark back with us for this one on guitar, mandolin, banjo, vocals and anything else you throw at him - we played the last gig as a 3 piece and still had the Snowdrop up and dancing. We'll get Nick out from behind the drum kit - just a bit of percussion maybe, so he can play some guitar and sing. We will be trying out some new songs (as always) and mixing a few covers with our original songs. Love these acoustic shows!
